Hello Runners, We are still taking applications for the 2012 race. Please fill out this online application at this link http://alturl.com/y5hps or email Eric or Bryan for more information. New: updated and faster course for 2012! We are going back to a one-turn course similar to "the original" Golden Mile. We will start on the corner of Union and 9th Streets and head north toward downtown and then make a right hand turn onto Front Street heading easy toward Boardman. We anticipate this course will be much more racer friendly, while still providing lots of cheering crowds... See you on July 14th! Eric and Bryan

2012 Golden Mile!

Hello Runners!

We are now accepting applications for the 2012 National Cherry Festival 5/3 Bank Golden Mile to be held Saturday morning July 14th.

We will be updating the course map in the next few weeks. We will be going back to a one turn style course, more in the vain of the original Golden Mile (for those familiar, it will be North on Union St, then heading East on Front Street).

Prize Money Structure Finalized

The prize money structure has been finalized for this year's race. With $1,000 guaranteed for the winners!

$1,000 for 1st
$500 for 2nd
$250 for 3rd


There will be a bonus paid to a "clear leader" at the halfway point as well. We are still working with our sponsors to secure additional bonuses.
